The Fisheries Agency, Council of Agriculture regularly organizes volunteer medical consultations and free haircut activities in collaboration with the National Immigration Agency, the Ministry of Labor, Fishermen's associations, and NGO groups, and distributes cards to promote the protection of rights and interests. It also provides subsidies to fishermen's associations and NGO groups to organize occasional caring activities such as festivals, celebration parties, educational and promotional activities, or cultural exchanges.

Furthermore, since 2014, the Fisheries Agency has been running a washroom scheme (shower rooms) and sitting-out areas (prayer rooms) in key fishing ports on a trial basis. As of August 31, 2021, 18 fishing ports have installed washrooms (shower rooms) and 6 fishing ports have subsidized the installation of prayer rooms. In addition, there are two fishing ports where washrooms (shower rooms) installations have started, which will be completed in 2021 and the Fisheries Agency will continue to develop suitable planning and installation for the fishing ports.
